In January 2018, I joined an Instagram-based sewalong called the Fussy Cutting Sewalong organized by Naomi Clarke @naomialicec. Each month, Naomi sets a theme and each week she sets a challenge based on that theme. The sewalong consists of fussy-cutting fabric and sewing hexagon-flowers (hexie flowers) based on the specific themes and posting our creations on Instagram with the hashtag #fussycuttingsewalong so that others in the group can see what we’ve come up with. It is a very supportive group and I have learned so much along the way.
