Where I come from, a platter of sweet, often homemade, bite-sized baked goods (e.g., lemon squares, cookies, tarts, marshmallow squares) is called a “dainty tray.” These goodies are often served at holiday parties, showers, funerals, and most social gatherings that revolve around food.
