I had so much fun at this year’s QuiltCon in Phoenix, Arizona, presented by the Modern Quilt Guild. It was the 5th (in-person) QuiltCon that my “quilt-bestie” Karla and I have attended and we thought it was the best one yet! What is QuiltCon? From the QuiltCon website:
“QuiltCon is the largest modern quilting event in the world, hosted by the Modern Quilt Guild. With attendees coming from around the globe, QuiltCon features a vibrant quilt show full of competition quilts, community outreach quilts, and special exhibits as well as an enticing vendor hall, with all booths curated with the modern quilter in mind. QuiltCon also features lectures and workshops, available for registration with a four-day show pass.”
I was invited to do a “meet and greet” at the Cut Once Quilts booth. I’ve never done anything like this before but it was so much fun to meet customers, answer questions, and hang out with the amazing owners, Kristen and Eve. This was their first year vending at QuiltCon and their booth was so beautifully set up with all their acrylic template sets and coordinating sample quilts. Every time I walked past the booth was packed with excited customers.
